**Multi-family Housing | PV | Milpitas, CA**

SCS Development contacted Sun Light & Power early in the design process to come up with a solar energy solution for this new market-rate apartment building in Milpitas, California. The SLP team helped to design a structure that would be as elegant as it is useful, offsetting the entire common electricity load of the complex.

- PV System Size 124,440 W
- Annual kW production = 161,510

**Greenhouse gas equivalent = 114 Metric Tons, equivalent to:**

- 1.) 272,033 miles driven by an average car.
- 2.) 263 barrels of oil consumed.
- 3.) 0.905 acres of U.S. Forests preserved from conversion to cropland in one year.
