**Affordable Housing | PV | Emeryville, CA**

Sun Light & Power is proud to support the Nellie Hannon Gateway project with the installation of a 100.4 kW solar photovoltaic system for this affordable housing community in Emeryville. The system is composed of 186 Boviet solar modules and a SolarEdge inverter, and is designed to produce approximately 140,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean electricity each year, helping lower operating costs while advancing long-term sustainability goals.

Using the EPA’s greenhouse gas equivalency metrics, the solar system at Nellie Hannon Gateway is expected to offset about 55.8 short tons of carbon dioxide annually (tCO₂e/a). That impact is comparable to removing 11.8 gas-powered vehicles from the road or eliminating 128,952 miles of driving. In fuel terms, it’s the same as avoiding the consumption of 5,698 gallons of gasoline, roughly two-thirds of a tanker truck (0.67).

Nellie Hannon Gateway provides critical housing for individuals and families while promoting dignity, stability, and community connection. Sun Light & Power is honored to contribute renewable energy solutions that align environmental responsibility with social impact.
