BERKELEY, CA, July 31, 2019 – Sun Light & Power, California's premier solar solutions provider, announces the naming of a veteran solar executive, Koralie Hill, to fill the newly created position of Director of System Performance. In this role, Ms. Hill, former Director of Engineering at Sun Light & Power, will be responsible for driving the performance of customers' solar thermal and solar power systems. As a key member of the executive leadership team, she will oversee performance monitoring as well as managing preventative and corrective service work.

Hill has over 20 years of experience in engineering and solar. After receiving her undergraduate degree at The University of Michigan, Hill earned a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. She began working at Sun Light & Power in 2005 as a solar installer. She has held various positions of increased responsibility including crew leader, foreperson, project manager, general superintendent, quality assurance, and Director of Engineering. One of her new responsibilities will be producing reports that compare system performance data acquired with predicted performance calculations.

When asked about her new role, Ms. Hill said, "I have a passion for maximizing solar system output for our customers. I want to prolong their systems' lifetimes and achieve the highest performance possible so they can produce a high amount of energy over the longest period of time. "

In announcing Hill's appointment, Sun Light & Power's COO Troy Tyler explained how the new position aligns with Sun Light & Power's focus on providing exceptional customer experience. "With her extensive field experience as well as her technical and leadership background, Koralie brings the perfect set of skills to lead our emerging system performance group. I see Koralie's appointment as a sign of Sun Light & Power's commitment to customer performance."
