Sun Light & Power installed a 403.15 kW solar photovoltaic system at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, a vital organization providing food and resources to the community. The system includes 733 Boviet solar modules paired with three SolarEdge inverters, producing an estimated 594,089 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean electricity each year. This large-scale installation helps reduce energy costs and supports the organization’s sustainability goals.

According to EPA calculations, the solar array at the Food Bank will prevent approximately 224 short tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually (tCO₂e/a). That’s equivalent to taking 47.4 gasoline-powered cars off the road or avoiding 517,800 miles driven. The system also offsets 22,880 gallons of gasoline, about 2.7 full tanker trucks. These benefits continue year after year.
