BERKELEY, CA, October 10, 2019 – Sun Light & Power, California's premiere solar solutions provider, announces a partnership with Baja Carports of Martinez, California, to provide three standard solar plus canopy offerings. The carport structures utilize solar panels either as the actual rooftop itself or mounted on top of roof decking. Both methods provide maximum coverage and optimal PV production. Commercial businesses and property owners can self-generate power while providing shaded parking to customers, employees and residents.
The two companies worked together to create affordable and practical solutions that can be installed in a variety of locations. They are ideal for corporation campuses, school campuses, hospitals, stadiums, housing complexes and retail plazas.

With so many years of experience in their respective businesses, the two men had a lot in common. After a few discussions, three solutions have been made available:
1. Full cantilever T canopy, which covers two rows of parking, suitable for large parking areas
2. Full cantilever canopy, offering single-row parking coverage with flat, upslope and downslope options
3. Braced single post cantilever canopy, which can be combined with full cantilever canopies to cover narrow rows
