Jim Gaither wanted to create something truly special when he redeveloped his family-owned property at Hanover and Page Mill Road in Palo Alto. His design team came to SLP with the dream of building one of the first net-zero commercial office buildings in the state. And compromising on the beauty of the building was not an option. Our solutions:

  1. Low-slung modules that are hidden from view over most of the building.
  2. Frameless clear modules to allow dappled light through the trellis solar array over the grand two-story entry.
  3. A trellis with color-coordinated painted frames and a geometrically aligned racking system that is truly beautiful to look at from below.
