The roof of this large warehouse was filled with PV to reduce utility costs. We used a PanelClaw ballasted mounting solution to minimize roof penetrations. The system is currently outperforming the original solar energy production estimates and has resulted in increased savings! Greenhouse gas equivalent = 392 Metric Tons, equivalent to:
- 1.) 939,977 miles driven by an average car.
- 2.) 908 barrels of oil consumed.
- 3.) 3.1 acres of U.S. Forests preserved from conversion to cropland in one year.
