Sun Light & Power installed a 95.15 kW solar photovoltaic system in Milpitas, California, providing clean, renewable energy to support sustainability goals for this facility. The system features 173 Boviet solar modules paired with a SolarEdge inverter and is projected to generate approximately 160,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity each year, helping reduce energy costs while lowering environmental impact.
According to EPA estimates, the Milpitas solar array will prevent about 52.9 short tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually (tCO₂e/a). This reduction is equivalent to removing 11.2 average cars from the road or avoiding 122,209 miles driven. It also offsets 5,400 gallons of gasoline, roughly 63.5% of a tanker truck (0.635). These benefits continue year after year.
This installation highlights the community’s commitment to sustainable energy and responsible environmental stewardship. Sun Light & Power is proud to provide solutions that support both operational efficiency and a cleaner, greener future.
