Sun Light & Power developed a 28.6 kW solar photovoltaic system for Vine Hill Ranch, a renowned vineyard in Napa, California. The installation includes 68 REC Solar modules paired with three SolarEdge inverters and is designed to generate approximately 80,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean electricity each year. This system supports the Vine Hill Ranch's commitment to sustainable operations while helping offset on-site energy use.
Using EPA greenhouse gas equivalency data, the solar system at Vine Hill Ranch will avoid approximately 15.9 short tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually (tCO₂e/a). That’s comparable to removing 3.4 gasoline-powered vehicles from the road or eliminating 36,682 miles of driving. It also offsets the consumption of 1,621 gallons of gasoline, about 19% of a tanker truck (0.191). These environmental benefits continue to add up each year.
Vine Hill Ranch is dedicated to producing exceptional wines while preserving the land for future generations. Sun Light & Power is proud to contribute to that vision with a renewable energy solution that supports both environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability.
