“Two medical groups own this building collaboratively including Neil Katsura DDS, Bob Khalil DDS, Arnold Nakazato DDS, and Ameneh Khosrovani DDS. The downstairs portion belongs to Aloha Pediatric Dentistry and the upstairs is occupied by Berkeley Orthodontics. Before solar, our combined winter bills averaged about $2,000.00 per month so we decided to max-out our roof surface with almost 15 kW of SunPower modules.
We saw installing solar as an expression of our commitment to being stewards of the environment. We’re a mission-driven organization. Our dedicated doctors and staff share their dental skills by volunteering their time and effort to a variety of causes including trips to parts of Guatemala, Costa Rica, the Philippines, and Kona, Hawaii, where little to not dental care is available. Solar seemed like the right next thing for us to do.”
